Joseph Generation

Breakthrough doesn't come just through the word. It comes from hearing the spoken word from God. Can you be obedient to the word of God? Obedience gives birth to blessings. Blessings are an anointing, an empowerment. Wisdom is deposited in our soul. (Mind, will, emotions)

It's important to hear what God has to say. If we can begin to train our soul to hear, then we will begin to be led by the spirit.

If we spend time in the word day and night then we will find good success. What you get in your soul leads you to a prosper point.

The world will run to the light when they see you know what to do. Like Joseph in Egypt, who know by rem-ah word of God, a famine was coming. He prepared a nation.

Look for a place to be obedient. If you pray, "God empower me!" There comes a moment in time for obedience. Will you rise up to meet the obedience challenge?

Be willing to be obedient. You have to want to be obedient. You must be willing and obedient.

PROMISE:
Job 36:11 If they obey and serve Me they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure. (amp: pleasantness and joy)

We must find scriptures that cover situations we are facing. As we spend time in those scriptures, we set ourselves up to hear from God regarding the situation.
It's called positioning yourself to hear God through his written word. Once you position yourself through the written word, you'll hear a Rhemah word. If you obey the Rhemah word, things will begin to happen.

Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful in that which is much.

If we are not faithful with money, we can not be trusted with anything else because in the kingdom of God money is of least value.

Can God trust you with little? with money? with what belongs to another man? These are the 3 areas you will be tested in before significant increase can take place. You can forget about the anointing! If you can not be trusted with a dime of a dollar, as a faithful tither, how can you be trusted with what belongs to another man?

Honoring God puts us in a position to have God honor us. Treat His words as important, He will treat your words as important. Are you taking the tithe to God because you have to, or because you love Him? I don't have to tithe, I get to tithe!
It's an honor! I don't want to go before God empty handed.

Are you trying to get more of the least?

Proverbs 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings.

Money is part of our worship. It's something holy before God when we obediently give 10%. He gave us the 100% to start with. If you want to live a worshipful life tithes and offerings are part of our worship.

3 FEASTS:
Deut 16:16 and Exodus 23:14 Three times a year you shall keep a feast unto me; unleavened bread, feast of the weeks, and in the feast of the tabernacle.((amp)none shall appear before me empty handed)

You would not show up to visit with a head of State empty handed. Neither should be show up before God empty handed.

Tithe because you are obeying God, not because you are trying to get more money. The motives of your heart are critical. Don't allow your cultural, upbringing, the economy, or your pocketbook to determine your heart. This limits God's ability to operate on your behalf. It's about TRUST. He's trying to find out if you trust Him.

Ps 96:8-9 Give unto the Lord Glory (money) due unto His Name:(bring an offering.)Come unto His courts. Worship the Lord in the beauty of His holiness.

When you are obedient not to show up empty handed it will be worship.

Do you want breakthrough? Honor, obedience, and faithfulness?

If not, keep doing what you have been doing and you will get what you have been getting.

Jesus, looking over the holy offering being paced in the temple said, "Truly, I say unto you, this widow woman has given more than all the rest, because she gave all she had with nothing left over." She has to earnestly depend on God now. So what he is saying is "This woman has put ALL her trust and reliance on God to sustain her now."

Believers believe!

There is profit in serving God.

The spirit of Mammon, a Babylonian poverty spirit, opposes the offering and causes a fear of running out.

When you take an offering to God you enter into His courts, into His presence. In the presence of the Lord there is fullness of joy.

Ps 49: Bring an offering and come into His courts but do not come empty handed.

#1) Bringing an offering brings glory to God.
#2) Bringing an offering gives us access into God's court. Ex 23:15
#3) Bringing an offering is a God appointed part of our worship. Worship is not complete without bringing an offering.

1 Samuel 9:5 ...Saul said to his servant, ...there is in this city a man of God and all he says comes to pass.(That was Samuel) ...but behold if we go what shall we bring the man? (They did not want to go to see Samuel empty handed) The 4th part of a shekel of silver. They presented the prophet, (Samuel) an offering.

Then...Samuel received the offering they brought and here's what happened next:

Chapter 10: The anointing oil was poured (on the men) by Samuel. (supernatural empowerment)
Then the asses they lost were found (restoration)
and they went forward (supernatural progress),
then (favor), spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, (a change of status).

So little of an offering for such breakthrough, don't you think?!
