A Year in Prophecy

This year, 2009, very well may be one of the most biblically prophetic years yet. I hardly profess to understand everything prophetic. Who could? Even the most prolific bible scholars who proclaim to know a great deal about endtimes and have enough degrees to whistle dixie have been wrong in the their predictions or interpretations. So I ask you, take this as food for thought only. The gospel truth is afterall, reserved for the gospel! That's the good news (the bible, the word of God) for those of you who do not know.

It's that time of year when we look back on the last year. The news will broadcast highlights, TV shows will show human blunders, the best and worst of 2008 will be made a public spectacle.

For the most part I came here to say, we are entering into a new time on earth. A no turning back moment in history like when a woman goes into labor. A time when every word and deed we do and say will now having lasting and far reaching impact like never before. Offense will go rampant. Rudeness has become standard customer service in the last few years.

We currently have 72 (significant) wars going on worldwide. We had 382 earthquakes in the first 2 months of 2008 in the United States alone. This is what the bible refers to as the birth pains of the earth. The economic collapse is just beginning. Those who say the US economy will get better are gravely deceived. This is a whole wide economic shift predicted 2000 years ago by Christ himself. The bible says a barrel bushel for a days meal. That means inflation will be at an all time high. It will cost a barrel of money for one days meal! The black horse of the apocalypse has been released. He carries a balance. Famine.

What's Next?
When you see the armies surrounding Israel know that the end times have come. With Hezbolah in the North and Hamas in the Gaza Strip in the South Israel was already surrounded by enemy armies. The bible says the Russian army will surround Israel but they will not invade. They will be pushed back. Yet Israel will anger the whole world. How is this possible? They have already angered the whole muslim world for defending themselves against neighboring rocket fire. It is not hard to see the next steps coming to pass.

How many Christ's?
Jesus made one other important prediction. He said many will come pretending to be him. We've seen a few nuts rise up as cults leaders and say, "I'm Christ!" Most normal people know better. I am referring to more pronounced and deceptive spirits that will con even the influencial and the elite. (movies stars, supposed world-wise people) Christs will increase this year like we have never seen before!

What else?-World Calamities
Great revival. Revival is for the dead. The Spirit filled need no revival. That means people who have never considered eternal life will begin to go to church and seek God. Why? A great calamity like 9/11 caused 100000's of people to reconsider the end times and their permanent destiny. I truly believe we are headed for natural disasters and not just weather wise, or with natural disasters like earthquakes and tornados. Infrastructure will begin to give way in massive ways due to far reaching neglect on the part of our government. Bridge collapes, damn breakages, sink holes, state and federal funding freezes, etc. ...and that is just in the U.S. Worldwide we have pirates, genocide, warlords, drug smuggling and the biggest growing atrosity we have not even begun to face; human trafficing in sex slavery.

Is this a negative doomsday blog? It's not meant to be.

God says to the rider of the black horse, "touch not the wine or the oil..."

That means His anointed, and Holy Ghost filled people. It will not come near us! This is a great time in history to be a christian.
